AndroidManifest.xml 살피기

1) android:configChanges="screenSize|smallestScreenSize|screenLayout|orientation"

2) android:supportsPictureInPicture="true"

앱에서 PiP를 지원하기 위해 AndroidManifest에 PiP 대상 액티비티에 android:supportsPictureInPicture 를 true로 설정한다. configuration 변경시 액티비티의 재실행을 막기 위해 andoird:configChanges 값도 설정한다.

android:configChanges 에 지정한 configuration 변경이 발생할 경우, 액티비티는 재실행되지 않고, activity의 onConfigurationChanged()가 호출된다. 다수의 configuration 값을 설정할 경우, "|"로 구분한다.

예: android:configChanges="screenSize|smallestScreenSize|screenLayout|orientation"

 

샘플 코드에 나온 configuration 값들은 다음과 같다.

• screenSize : 사용 가능한 화면 크기의 변경. 사용 가능한 화면의 가로 세로 비율이 변경된 것.
• smallestScreenSize : 물리적인 디스플레이 화면의 변경. 
• screenLayout : 화면 레이아웃의 변경. 다른 디스플레이 화면이 활성화 되는 것.
• orientation : 화면 방향의 변경. 사용자가 기기를 회전하는 것. 앱이 Android 3.2(API level 13) 이상을 타게팅할 때, screenSize와 screenLayout도 같이 설정해야한다. 화면의 가로, 세로 방향이 변하면서 화면 크기와 레이아웃도 변경될 수 있기 때문이다.
